how to change your life
radical self-awareness for radical transformation

the beauty of life is that it’s both immensely beautiful and equally, or even more so, extremely difficult.
for some, life seems to be easy, flowing with the natural current that you’ve been given, allowing the world to take you wherever it needs you.
this wasn’t me for the longest time and is still a battle to release control.
for others, life seems to be a constant struggle amid subtle or even subconscious suffering, or even seems to be a wave of monotony amid a severe lack of personal development.
maybe you don’t know or believe that you’re worthy for a better life.
maybe you’ve settled into a version of life you never thought would be yours, though it’s what you have, and now you have learned to be grateful for the fact that you are alive, at the very least.
if the latter group seems to be you, this post is for you.
life as we know it isn’t supposed to feel like a drag, like an obligation, like you’re waiting for something to change based on the belief that someone is coming to save you one day from the boredom or suffering amid plentiful distraction.
life, and all good things for that matter, is supposed to be hard, in the difficulty lies the beauty, but only in the sense that you are fully activated as a person, aligned with your specific capabilities and fully in love with every moment.
in fact, the path towards your highest self, potential, will never be full of sunshine and roses.
contrary to that belief, of passive optimism, in order to get to your highest potential, you have to be willing to walk where you’ve never walked before and trust that where you’re going is better than where you are.
you have to believe that you are worthy of change, that it’s possible, and that the only person capable of changing your life is you.
life change is a massive shift and, unfortunately, it is going to be uncomfortable.
you have settled into a realm of energy, a comfort bubble you’ve grown accustomed to, that you feel comfortable defending yourself within and surviving.
you don’t know, cannot know, what else is out there within that realm.
you are limited in your understanding by your attachment to this realm.
but just because you don’t know it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. it is.
this other realm of experience is waiting for you.
importantly, it doesn’t have to be difficult to understand what to do to find it.
in this post, I’m going to walk you through how to understand yourself, the most important asset you have when aligned in the inherent fabric of the universe, or love, so that you can navigate your life, and embark on a journey of unlimited growth, and total transformation, evolution, or total life change.
you are capable and worthy of changing your life.
let’s begin.
STEP 1: TAKE INVENTORY
bring into the physical world the awareness of you, your energetics, time, energy, and all resources.
understand you to recalibrate.
the first step to life change is to take inventory of your resources.
your resources are stores of energy and the flow of energy into and out of self. just like you would do for a business regarding money, you will do the same for yourself, with some important additions.
in general, the goal is to inventory your day-to-day and understand where your energy is coming from and where it is going. do not judge yourself, ever. this step is simply about coming into awareness about your energy flow.
resources to take inventory of include:
time
how do you spend your time, on which activities, with which people?
how often do you move your body, rest and recharge?
how much time is spent on activities that fill you up versus draining your energy?
if you don’t know the difference, how do you feel after the activity, and does it improve your sense of self, health, and well-being or does it deter from your inner peace?
money
what do you spend money on?
how much money is stored? what assets do you have? what credits?
how do you make money?
food
what do you eat to nourish your body?
is your food eaten for taste or nutrition? flavor or substance?
organic vs. non-organic
other forms of information
sound - music/radio, television, conversations, background noise (construction, traffic), phone, youtube, et.c
sight - television, movies, social media, youtube, social
touch - clothing options - organic vs. non-organic, humans, animals, etc.
smell - artificial vs. natural scents, candles vs. essential oils,
taste - food, drink, etc.
when you understand your energy flow, you begin to get an understand of the sources of energy acquistion versus energy drainage. importantly, looking at these things gives you a better sense of seeing the world, and whether or not the things we think are supporting us are actually doing so.
Understanding Energy
within each source of energy is an information signature, light and substance, or darkness and nothing.
it is easy to paint something with light to attract unassuming, loyal consumers. it is more difficult to be honest.
it is also easy to assume all things we ingest provide the substance of light you seek, though that is the struggle with the physical world, is that it can deceive you.
when you look at food for example, you may see something tasty, like ice cream or a chocolate chip cookie, and you don’t even have to see the cookie to begin to salivate but just by looking at the word itself may elicit salivation, which means that all words hold an energy signature, meaning that everything that you ingest holds power to change you.
the outside of the cookie may look delicious, but inside of it lies nothing of substance, nothing that actually fills your body with energy. in fact, it requires energy to be able to digest and acquire any nutrients from the cookie and makes acquiring energy from similar, sugar-laden sources more difficult in subsequent attempts, or insulin resistance. in other words, it requires more of that thing, the lack of substance, to be satisfied, the beginning of a downward spiral.
ingesting things that lack substance are prohibitors of energy flow and cause stagnation of growth, therefore a build-up of energy.
in order to encourage energy flow, you must unleash the blockages by removing those energy inhibitors and replacing them with substances that encourage internal current restoration, feeding the deepest parts of us first, which will then spontaneously flow outward, feeding the rest of us.
by fixing deep problems, restoring internal energy flow first, you’ll receive external resolution.
on the other hand, looking at a steak, or a wholesome salad, may not elicit the same salivary reaction, or maybe it does, but in fact, if taken from the right source, your body is nourished with energy, light, and substance. you will feel better, and you’ll learn to attribute things that nourish you with goodness.
you’ll learn to feed yourself with things that satisfy you instead of deplete you.
this is good for the body. this is love. this is devotion to your highest self.
when you look at all of your energy stores, you begin to get a sense of where your energy is being prohibited and with time, and with the next couple of steps, you’ll learn how to restore energy flow.
time for step 2.
STEP 2: REDEFINING VALUES
values provide the direction in which you are headed, your moral and life compass.
the next step is about redefining values. there is no reason to live unless we have a purpose, which we all do. this purpose means that we live by a certain hierarchy of values or how we make decisions so that we can acheive what we believe is best for us and those around us.
all of us hold something highest in our hearts, which thereby dictates how you orient your life, how you make decisions, and how you accumulate stores of energy, and how much, as seen above.
your current life holds a certain value system or where your energy flows to acheive more of what it believes it needs to be satisfied, which we are now going to uncover, which is the reason why you are seeking change.
look into your energy stores above and create a list of things that matter most to you, in order of importance. this could be money, health, relationships, profession, social status, purpose, or something else.
important questions to consider when making this list include:
when I make a decision, what is the deciding factor?
what factor tells me I’m doing okay in life?
how does it feel when I earn more of what I valued most?
what factor helps me feel content, satisfied with life?
when you answer these questions, take your time and allow yourself to feel into the entirety of the experience so that the answer doesn’t come from a place of judgment or dishonesty or overthinking, but of truth, honesty, humility, and love.
if you’re not honest during this process, you’ll never uncover the truth of who you are and what you value most and how to orient yourself toward what helps you change your life. you will also live under the veil of believing something to be true that is not, which is the problem that all of us experience that must be solved.
then, when you have come into the understanding of what you value most, think about how that set of values has led to your current state of being and how you want that to shift.
if you want to change your life, you must understand where you are and where you want to go.
more questions to answer:
what do you want to matter most?
at the end of your life, what will you look back on and be most proud of?
if you could only have one thing, choose one thing to value most above all else, in this life, what would it be?
the last question is critical.
if you had to choose one thing above all else to love, nourish, adore, and cherish, trusting that one thing being nourished would take care of the rest of the problems in life, which would that be?
if there’s one thing that matters most in life, may it be you, the one who experiences all of your specific and beautiful life, both ups and downs, both triumphs and terrors, and the ability for you to overcome these challenges to rebuild the framework of your life to uphold light and substance in all areas.
it may be difficult to believe that you are worthy of placing yourself first, the highest value, above all else, for many reasons, most of which include the shame of having trauma you may believe is your fault, though that too is a lie. all that you believe is necessary to hold on to in this world is only fuel for the fire, to burn as a sacrifice to unleash yourself from these worldly chains into your highest form of living.
life change only occurs when you’re willing to let go of all of the things you valued most in pursuit of feeding what you value most.
you are worthy of being nourished above all else. everything else can be released.
when you redefine your values so that you become the deciding factor for your decisions, the things, or energy stores that are inhibiting your growth, health, and freedom, are found to only be distractions and detrimental to your highest value.
of course, upon this transition of value, you may question whether you will be able to survive without the other values, as these things have provided your sense of identity for so long. it may feel like a death to let go of everything inhibiting you from living your life according to what fills you with substance, light, and love, and of course, it may feel painful, but letting go of old skin is the pathway to growth and abundance, without which you live in comfort, therefore a growing, gnawing sense of stagnation, stillness, and death.
beyond what you know is the world in which you are fully capable of living out your every dream. this is available to you.
now for step 3.
STEP 3: LAUNCH
it takes everything you have, full commitment, to launch beyond your current living.
it’s time to launch.
as we’ve discussed, before you take off, you must first come into a firm understanding of who you are, where your energy is coming from and leaking to, or the foundation for launch.
then, you must have and understanding of where you’re going, what matters most, and understand the importance of transitioning your value set from wanting external things, which only restrains you, to nourishing yourself first, holding yourself highest in your heart, providing the pathway to your launch.
the fuel for launch becomes the attachments of your life, trusting that when you release them, the only place for you to go is up.
in theory, this may seem easier said than done, hence the important factor of burning fuel for launch. there will be pain required to experience the life you want.
but you don’t have to do it alone.
to launch, you need to ask for help.
Ask For Help
the power of prayer, asking for help, calling in energy beyond your awareness.
as a human being, an essential part of the earth and nature around us and the entire unseen universe beyond our awareness, both past, present, and future, you can and need to ask for help, or prayer.
prayer, beyond religious implications, is alignment with God, or Creator of the Universe, the fundamental essence and expression of the world.
it’s an act of humility to admit that you can’t do this alone, that you haven’t taken care of yourself or others as you should have, that you may feel ashamed for those actions, and that you’re ready to move on from those states, in order to change, in order to become more than you are.
in prayer, you activate or supercharge all of your cells into alignment with your highest self, sending energetic signals of love to transform by releasing old energetic attachments of shame and guilt, therefore lifting you higher.
there is no other way to experience a transformed life than to unleash from old relationships to things or people that are holding you back, people who like you for the person you used to be and don’t want you to change, or the lifestyle you thought would provide you with happiness.
understanding the resources you have and what you value most, believing this one thing will provide you with every thing you have ever needed in this world, will open up the pathways for everything else to emerge. it is by feeding the root of your tree that fruit can grow.
if you hold on to fruit, or fail to nourish the roots, more fruit cannot grow. to be fruitful, energetic investment needs to be inward, in all moments.
Don’t Look Back
to walk in the face of uncertainty is faith, requires courage, and breeds miracles. you are acting in accordance with the laws of the universe.
how can a seed to sprout into the creation of a forest if not to fall first?
associated with release is a void, the emptiness before the reception of more information or energy. this could be scary if you don’t understand the process of life and death, the natural process of birth, growth, death, and rebirth.
as energetic beings, we rarely ever lack things to grasp on to, so before you release, remember how every time you’ve stepped away, taken a break from something, another activity, thought, or pattern has always replaced, leading you to where you are today.
that being said, there is nothing to worry about. we will always be given the next step, with new eyes and understanding, and a higher perspective.
i mention in a different podcast/blog about the analogy of a restaurant, whereby the energy of a restaurant cannot function if it holds on to the same customers. it must conduct it’s function well, then release them, trusting that the empty seats will bring more customers.
this is the same for us. when we release from our old life, there is a moment in which you don’t know what could happen next.
of course, that is scary!
but it’s good.
and, what would be more terrifying:
facing the unknown
or
having never let go of your old self, old habits, and old life, never getting to experience what else is in store for you or what else, how much more, you could become.
you must believe that you are worthy, as every human being is, to live a better life, but it happens not in waiting in your comfort, but in walking into discomfort, walking into fear, walking into the unknown.
you are worthy, and loved, and rewarded by your faith, walking away from your old self and never looking back.
the old life will call you back into comfort, but it is there you will die from regret and perpetual agony.
when you walk, make the cut once and for all. don’t look back. don’t regret your decision. your
closing thoughts
life change is difficult. your body is adjusted to a certain frequency, environment, state of living, and it’s easy to settle into that state, allowing it to dictate the trajectory of your living.
you were built for more than that.
you were built to launch.
to launch you need to understand who you are, what you have, what you’re holding on to, and where your energy is coming from and going to.
then, you need to reassess your value system and think about what matters most to you. in every decision, this is what matters most. and if you could only have one thing, what would that be?
finally, you need to launch. ask for help. release your old life. activate your self. and don’t look back. move on and upward.
it is there, high above, you’ll find the peace, harmony, health, satisfaction and joy you’ve been searching for.
